  • Beautiful little church near the castle of Rīga. Very clean, simple interior architecture, but tasteful. There is a sort of cave dedicated to the Madonna.

  • Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic church stands at one of the corners of the Castle Square, not far from Riga Castle. Here you can get in for free. The temple is open from 7:30 to 18:00. Services are held here in Latvian and Polish languages, even on weekends and in Russian and Lithuanian. I love to walk on the street Pils (Castle) from the dome square and the building of the Exchange. Then the white Spire with turrets and celadon tip appears at the end of the street in the opening between the houses and gradually approaching. And to assess the size and scale of the Cathedral, I advise you turn lane Field and go down to the waterfront. The Church and the wall around it took almost the entire length of the street.
