  • Visit this museum to have an eye opening experience about the oppression of the Latvian Jews. Very moving experience
  • Very informative exhibition that describes Latvia's occupation history. Chronological order on the posters/videos so easy to hang with, everything is in English. Free if you do not want guided tour, but a donation is of course within. Worth to take the trip!

  • Free entry. Decent size. Mostly factual. Slight propaganda. The fact that it makes some Russian visitors as angry as to give 1 star to this museum is intriguing.
  • We were there at around 4pm on 18 Jun 2016 and wanted to visit but the main entrance was locked. So, we gave it a miss but crossed over to the other side of River Daugava.
  • Well explained the thistleshistory of opaction
  • Great modern history lesson about the people of Lativa ... Helps you understand the what these people (past generation) went through prior to independence ... A ""MUST SEE"" MUSEUM FOR ALL VISTIORS TO RIGA ...
  • So fun to see angry and exclaiming russians there, they really think, that when you say "Soviet Union", you mean russians))))
