  • Following on from the street where the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings of Riga is a jewel of a property in an apartment inside to admire. Upon entering you'll see one of the most beautiful staircases of the city. You will be welcomed by people in local clothing. Then get a guided tour through the rooms of this original Art Nouveau House, once inhabited by the architect Pekšens. Tried to call the original state as much as possible. To support a short, interesting movie about the rise of Art Nouveau in Riga and some nice examples of architecture. No great museum, but very worth the trouble!

  • The Museum is located in one of the most emblematic Art Nouveau buildings of the city. In the street Alberta. Surrounded by more buildings in the same architectural style. They have a 10-minute video in English or in Russian explaining the modernism. Interactive screens where you can meet the different famous characters of the epic. And different architects as well as their respective works spread to throughout the city. On the top floor, is a walk along throughout the House passing through each of its rooms all very well maintained and filled with details and objects from the period. Each room well explained in several languages, but not in Spanish. Great costumes for the person. It is also very helpful. You have to pay 3 euros apart from the price of the ticket if you want to take pictures...
