  • The Latvian National Opera is located in a historical building of the first municipal Theater Riga, designed by German architect Ludwig Bohnstedt. The building was rebuilt several times, the greatest contribution to his modern look introduced Reinhold Schmeling. The Interior of the premises is astounding and unique painting of walls and ceilings. The Latvian National Opera every season more than 200 performances, and that's not counting the performances of the Symphony Orchestra and chamber music concerts.

  • Nice place to see the theatre, sometimes boring acts
  • Every week different shows. Nice and elegant.
  • No parking for theater visitors. Some parking lots near by. Need to print your tickets if you bought them online. (scanning from phones screen is not recommended, some may refuse to do so)
  • Just the best theater in latvia
