  • I want to read in a guidebook Janis rozentals art, visited. Watching route first of all is from the rooftop terrace. Absolutely breathtaking in the cupola of the Cathedral of the Saviour's birth from the roof-top terrace overlooking Golden. Touched by an unexpected scenery. It is a Museum of beautiful Art Nouveau architecture of the museum itself.

  • Interesting Museum with audio possible to download over the internet. Pay 6 per person on entry (there was no discount for students and groups). The view from the top is beautiful.

  • I advise to visit. A very interesting exposition of Latvian, a little German painting, an interesting modern reconstruction of an ancient traditional Museum. The Museum "has left" under the ground and "took off" in the attic-climb-will not regret! Much love to the art and the desire to surprise visitors.

  • Impressive building that is home to a great collection of Latvian art from back in the day to contemporary. Mostly paintings, a few sculptures and photographs. Time flies wandering the exhibition, make sure you bring plenty :) There's also small gift shop with books and stuff.
  • Well laid out and very interesting for bringing together history, politics and culture. Good information points and cards
  • Good selection of art. Art lovers will defenetly enjoy. And even if you are not you still gonna like it.
  • A wonderful monument to art, that will inspire awe even in those who usually don't care about art. The building it self is beautifully renovated
  • Beautiful museum! Worth visit for sure! Audioguide sucks though!
