Categories: Observation Decks, Architectural Buildings, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
Housed in a typical Stalinist-style building, Latvian Academy of Sciences - Panorama Deck unites the country's greatest and most well-known scientists. As you approach the 108 m (354 ft) edifice, look for Latvian folk motifs and hammer-and-sickle communist symbols engraved upon it. Enter to see the building's dark, dated interior and climb to the 17th-floor balcony, the main attraction for visitors with its wide views of the city. Grab a booklet from the ticket office to learn more about the building's facts and history. • raised on the observation deck. This is not my first viewing platform in Europe, but as far as I remember, the most expensive. is not in the Center, so the view is not particularly impressive. in general it is not worth this money, but for those to whom it is important to look at the city from a bird's-eye view, it is one of the most expensive options (Church of St. Peter-9 euro)
