  • First of all, it's location right in the Centre on the island, which is quite well equipped. There is a hole, where summer and winter activities from exhibitions to concerts.

  • The tensioning rope bridge to reach Kipsala. At the other end of the bridge is some white sandy beach volleyball court, children's playground and Beach Club. Sure actively used in the summer. Right behind it, a narrow cobbled Street to the shore goes along. Good Footwear required, because the sidewalk is different in quality and narrow. It has good views of the city. There are many historic and interesting wooden houses on the road. Most already restored, one is home to the Embassy of the Netherlands. The investor of the ferry is opposite to Stockholm. There are moorings for sailing and pleasure boats on the Bank of Kipsala. It's quiet and an alternative to the hustle and bustle of the city, but must be one because of the paving well on foot

  • You reach Kipsala either on foot via the tensioning rope bridge (1 km) or with the catenary power bus lines 5, 9, 12, 25 or the normal bus of lines 13, 30,37,41 and 53. If you like, can strengthen themselves in the small coffee kiosk at the bus stop or equal (Belasta dambis) walk along the embankment. Caution is advised on the stone pavement, you can bend if necessary. First, happens to the river beach pool and passes on more or less well-preserved ancient wooden houses, modern and an abandoned Villa. Left is the Mazais Baalaji dambis Zani Lipke Museum at the end of the cul-de-sac, which is worth a visit. Walking North you will pass at the Dutch Embassy. Who wants to see the Kangaroo on the roof of the Autralienhauses, must leave the shore road and about 50 metres in the oglu iela, the view to the right, above contact and then you can see the kangaroo. An old factory into apartments and a restaurant is has been transformed in the Enkura iela. On Kippsala - go to pretty quiet except on the beach -. It has views over the old town, possibly cruise /. Ferries and maybe also on a replica of a historic sailing vessel. A walk worthwhile.
