  • A good shopping centre in the old town. By area, it is not very big, but there's quite a lot of small shops. Basically it is clothes, shoes, jewelry. On the ground floor there are cafes, shops with makeup and a grocery store.

  • The Galerija centrs is in the eastern part of the city of Riga between the Opera House and the St. Peter's Church. From the Town Hall square is to walk in less than four minutes. Visually the Center from the outset we liked. The decor is bright and friendly and pleasant light of day falls through the glass roof. The supply of brands and restaurants meets the standard of such centers in a larger city. We have to find no difference to a mall in Berlin or Munich. Conclusion: Here makes shopping fun and successful architecture accentuated the positive experience.

  • Definitely something what you have to look. Only right in the dark. It is beautifully lit. The clothes, however, are sometimes more expensive than in Germany.

  • A lot of shopping! There are many many shops, some famous brands... some less famous, but good choice and quality. Clean and bright. The toilets are clean but not free of charge, to get in is needed a 20cent coin.
  • love the architecture. overall a good shopping experience. most things you want, they have
  • Anything short of construction equipment can be found here, ranging from food, to clothing to sports equipment and baby products. An overall pleasant place to wander around in.
  • Stylish, central modern. Toilets are not for free though, and I wonder how latvians with average salaries should buy anything outsude of the supermarket. In the sportsstore for example prices where ridicoulasly high
  • Shopping mall is more than OK, nice variety of shops. But to pay for WC if you are customer - not the best attitude.

Where to stay in Riga

As tourism surges in Riga, accommodation options and variety have grown too. The Baltic capital has quality lodging for every budget, from centrally located and affordable hostels, to private apartments and hotel rooms, to chic main-street hotels. The Old Town, a World Heritage Site, sits at the center of it all, so consider staying here if you want to be in the thick of things. For lower prices, look slightly outside of the city's core but within walking distance. For somewhere a little quieter, check out neighborhoods like Agenskalns and Tornakalns, which are less touristy, well-preserved districts.
