  • We were going there to a match of the basketball team. Because we were on the road in the city, we had a camera. The inlet was forbidden to us due to the camera. There was also no way to make the camera or to stow away in a safety deposit box. Such rules must simply be lockers available! Too bad!

  • I visited the Arena for a sports competition, the purpose of its construction, but for the World Jazz Festival. Beautiful modern property situated in the new part of the city. The visibility is good from all areas of the tiers and the acoustics are very good. Behind the bleachers there are wide corridors with kiosks that sell every type of gourmet products.

  • Super modern place. Premium quality Ice ring. Worth to see hockey games There.
  • After the show while we were waiting for taxi inside the arena they would just tell people to go outside in the cold while it's snowing because they are closing down. Absolutely horrible experience after really nice show. Really would expect to let people stay inside from the cold as there is not enough taxis around.
  • Terrible arena. First time going and from out of continent. From Canada. We went outside to grab a quick bite. Wouldn't let us back in. They told us we need a ticket to get back in, which we had. But didn't let us know that a ticket is a one way in and we need to buy another. Won't be going back ever!!
  • Went to Apocalyptica concert, this isnt place with specially good acoustics. And it definitely isn’t to grab any food as no vegetarian options were available, beside burnt chips.
  • Nice place, good acoustic. We went there for the Ceremony of Choir Games 2017, it was a pleasure. However, it's easy to realize that in Latvia they are far behind respect the Americans's typical spectacularization.

Where to stay in Riga

As tourism surges in Riga, accommodation options and variety have grown too. The Baltic capital has quality lodging for every budget, from centrally located and affordable hostels, to private apartments and hotel rooms, to chic main-street hotels. The Old Town, a World Heritage Site, sits at the center of it all, so consider staying here if you want to be in the thick of things. For lower prices, look slightly outside of the city's core but within walking distance. For somewhere a little quieter, check out neighborhoods like Agenskalns and Tornakalns, which are less touristy, well-preserved districts.
