  • Very beautiful and authentic church
  • Monumental Cathedral! St. Joseph is the largest cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese in Liepaja and the residence of the Archbishop of Kurzeme. The small Roman Catholic Church appeared on this place in the middle of the 18th century, and the modern version, which we see now, arose after perestroika, at the end of the 19th century. The interiors of St. Joseph Cathedral are impressive. The ceiling is decorated with wood, the walls are fully painted in delicate blue tones. It looks grandly!
