Livu Akvaparks, Jurmala

(4.2/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Livu Akvaparks offers indoor and outdoor water attractions for children and adults, including slides, wave pools, and special-effect rides. Recline on a raft and drift gently along the lazy river, or throw yourself into a 3.5 m (11.5 ft) deep aquarium-like pool. Plummet down a 22 m (72 ft) high slide at a speed of 60 km/h (37 mph) and get lost in a dark tunnel filled with lightning flashes and thunder. Don't miss the tornado ride--it's the only one in Europe and the third-largest in the world--which sends you through a narrow pipe and into a vertigo-inducing giant funnel. With our international travel planner, Jurmala attractions like Livu Akvaparks can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • Awesome place for all ages, cheap prices, very warm. There is something for everyone, and time flies when you are there. The only disappointment was the photo box lady by the exit who was very grumpy ...  more »
  • Good aquapark, yesterday went, what children liked to us with her husband was so-so, because we love to travel, to visit various aquaparks. Living in Latvia before ever there was not, decided to go. Not bad, but a little expensive for the price they ask for. So so-so.

  • For fun, full of slides, with or without a lifeline. Pools and activities for children. Could not access the slides from outside because we were in February! For the most relaxing part, sauna, hammam, jacuzi ect... With bar in the pool, very nice! Only downside, except the ganetille and smiling Lady shop entrance, all the staff is unfriendly... No smile, no Hello... But well, we start getting used to this façade in Latvia...

  • Worst park ever. There is no places to swim (for sports not for fun). Outside pool promised to be 10C, in reality 19C. Salt chamber does not produce salt emulsion (there is no positive effect of using salt room), infrared is only for spine, just a chair, not a room. Steam sauna is not hot, slightly warm. Dry sauna is not at correct temperature (you can stay for hour easily). Water in pools is slightly cloudy. There is nothing to do in the whole park for longer than 2 hours. Don't visit, ever. Ticket price is triple average. I have visited at least 10 differnet aquaparks and this is by far the worst. Polish parks are much better and cheaper (30-40% cheaper). Asked for explanation and full refund from administration, waiting for answer. I bought 3x day tickets for 90€. We left the park after 75 minutes. Administration does not respond to official complaints with signatures.
  • Best aqua park in Latvia. Includes many slides, tubs, jacuzzi, spas, eatery, bar and pools. 25 euro for adult for 4 hours is more than enough for anybody.
  • Fantastic day. Not many things if the little ones are under 120 cm mind. .....
  • A pretty large and well managed water park, with exciting slides, nice spa and nice outdoor area. Located at the beautiful Lielupe river bank.
  • Has lost its quality and cleanliness.
