  • I felt in Laos and best shopping centers with tourists go to the store is not so much. Not even anything else that as a souvenir. Ridicule while cooling, cooling and there is also a little Cafe, so nice. And is still nothing to Laos, meisou example (name Gen. Yu products) on the first floor, so look around and far more fun.

  • The Talat Sao carries the sign of the times, I think it's the first "modern" Mall built in Vientiane, at least for the next morning market, now seems like a small thing in comparison of various Vientiane Center, Itecc Mall, but for me remains the pioneer of vertical markets of Laos. Really like it seems excessive, but I live with eyes set on that bit of nostalgia of yesteryear is undeniable. For me it remains a place where I have to go for strength when they are in Vientiane, attracts me.

  • Around the main entrance on the first floor of 100 average wasn't too lively feel, dark, and once inside I still shop there, there are many people, was the. Many shops do not know whether what went on the first floor Lao Telecom counters have been opened but there. On the second floor is not seen just a little, but where gold shops were like. 3 or more had been closed.

  • Talat Sao is one of the first markets you should visit in Vientiane. There are plenty of old-school 'nick-knacks' to be found on the grounds (next to the the bus depot), & bargaining is expected! The newer building gives a modern environment, with plenty of modern 'bits & bobs'. I love it!!
  • The place wasn't crowed, has basic stuffs like clothes and electronics thing. And I could find any restaurant inside, night market at Chao Anouvong park nearby was a lot better.
  • The main building here looks like it has seen better days with the top floor now sitting vacant. The more fun thing was to visit the booths in the shopping areas outside the main building. Good selection of souvenirs, clothes, electronics, etc. Not much in the way of food other than coffee shops.
  • Go inside the mall "grounds" but walk around the periphery outside of the building. MUCH more interesting and full of cheap items. NEGOTIATE!
  • You have to bargain really hard. They were selling bags for four and a half times as much as we bought the exact same for in a local, non tourist mall. Do not trust the prices there for anything. Can be ok if you don't mind haggling but definitely aimed at making the most out of foreigners. Head to Anavoung park night market for better prices.
