  • The morning market is a reality seemingly unchangeable in Vientiane, although more and more compressed from traffic and large buildings, he is always equal to itself, even after so many times this year did not disappoint, even if you don't buy anything, I like girovagargli inside. It's kind of like your first love, it reminds me of the first contact I had with the city, more than 20 years ago, it fascinates me, not like in the past, but in a more conscious way. There's no great quality in there, but I think there is a world that tends to disappear, I have a feeling that sooner or later will end and they will knock down anything to do yet another shopping center of glass and concrete, and that smell of stale, those uneven floors, those lights uncertain will cease to exist. Long live the morning market, to me highly recommended, at least the first time you go to Vientiane.

  • Don't bother, not the kind of morning market most traveler expected to see, more like a indoor flea market.  more »

  • Actually a number of different buildings, the oldest reminds me of Russia 30 years ago but the other buildings are much better (although a far cry from the Malls of Thailand). Some interesting local stuff but very high pressure sales staff, don't hesitate for a second you will be mobbed!
  • I didn't find clothes I need. Types of souvenirs are limited. Prices sometimes are high. I advice to bargain and agree on a half price at least.
  • Personally I found the morning market a bit underwhelming. It may still be something to see but the night market is the one to definitely go to
  • Firstly that I think that's a foods market but it's a shopping mall. A lot of stuffs made in China or Thailand
  • Have limited parking lot for car
