Tham Phu Kham Cave and Blue Lagoon, Vang Vieng

(2.3/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Take a dip in a small emerald-colored river, or explore an ancient cave at Tham Phu Kham Cave and Blue Lagoon, an improvised eco-water park in a scenic village close to Vang Vieng. Observe sharp stalactites and stalagmites as you descend down steep walls to reach the largest hall of the cave, which contains a gilt bronze statue of a reclining Buddha, with several other smaller Buddha images revered by locals. The green-blue waters of the lagoon outside the cave provide a good relaxation spot, as well as the opportunity to jump off a tree into the water. You can also try your hand at abseiling or hurtle down one of the water slides throughout the day. Using our online itinerary creator, Vang Vieng attractions like Tham Phu Kham Cave and Blue Lagoon can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Dont go there if you expect to enjoy nature! It's not even worth to see it! You will find many places around vang vieng without all the tourists and with an actual nature experience!
