Tham Chang Cave, Vang Vieng
(2.8/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
Explore halls and narrow corridors of Tham Chang Cave, which provided a refuge for the inhabitants of a neighboring village during the wars of the 19th century. To get to the entrance of the cave, you need to cross a river on a wooden bridge and climb a hill overgrown with lush vegetation. Once in the cave, follow the well-lit pathways secured by wooden railings. From the entrance, you can see the surrounding fields, the river, and the village--the spot remains ideal for snapping a few memorable photos. Put Tham Chang Cave into our Vang Vieng vacation generator and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • From the top of the stairs leading to the cave, we have a fantastic view of vang vieng and the surrounding area. The cave is quite large and beautiful training offer. Small nice spring at the foot of the access to the bank where you can bathe in a blue water. Double compulsory payment of hotel vang vieng resort and the desk, which is a little pushed anyway!
