Where to stay in Pakse

A popular stop before exploring southern Laos, Pakse provides a small but ample selection of accommodation options, ranging from affordable guesthouses to former palaces-turned-upscale hotels. Look between the French bridge and central roundabout for places to stay in Pakse, as the majority of hotels from mid-range to budget are concentrated around this central strip and are within walking distance. The city's premier accommodation lies on the banks of the Mekong River, boasting outdoor pools and glittering views across the water.
