  • Go through the Pakbeng Lodge which is already an experience, very beautiful and luxury lodge overlooking the Mekong River in the middle of a garden with exuberant vegetation, vegetable garden cultivated by the employees of the hotel, a place where you feel good to attend the Mekong Elephant Camp. The Mekong Elephant walk is organised by the reception of the Lodge. We have had the privilege to take this walk only two, accompanied by the Manager of the camp which gave us many explanations on the environment, the elephants, trees and plants, a charming man and passionate about his craft and more speaking french. An elephant walk allowed us to "get high" and still more dominate the Mekong before down on the shore and attend the elephant bath. The means implemented by this camp to protect elephants, caring for them are more than respectable. At the end of the promenade, we had a gourmet meal at the restaurant of the lodge. A beautiful morning that will remain unforgettable.
