At Patok Cave, see the place that served as a sanctuary for the soldiers during the Vietnam War. Rich with history, the network of three caves offers a chance to see how and in what conditions the soldiers lived during the difficult period. To get to the first cave, you’ll need to cross a small bridge. Despite its small size, you probably won’t be able to touch the ceiling of the initial cave. Turn left to get to the second, which is larger and leads straight into the third. Make sure to bring a flashlight and spare batteries in order to thoroughly explore the caves. Put Patok Cave and other Nong Khiaw attractions into our Nong Khiaw attractions planner, and watch your holiday take shape.
