  • This is a local market where they buy their groceries. They also have handphone and hardware shops. If you have missed the morning market at luang prabang main street, this is a good alternative as it...  more »
  • Take a tuk-tuk is located to the West away from the Centre of Luang Prabang, but arrive in 5 to 6 minutes. Gold shops are lined up try climbing structures, such as inducing critical parts of the market building of escalators and entrance were not moving, but was alone and was assumed Garan. On the front of this building was greatly raised market name, I just thought the main building, and this one was somewhat anticlimactic, but is actually different. Don't down the elevator doesn't work and walk on the ground floor in the back, great. It's had a lot of counter with plenty of lived-in feeling, such as household goods, vegetables, restaurant, seafood, meat. Was in the market that can be felt with sufficient space, came travel to Laos though think ordinary people, such as the price of vegetables and fish types live Buri.

  • For locals and truer picture. Nice to see raw materials for the meals in old town. Have a walk down there (15min) and refresh yourself contributing to any coconut ladies and locals roadside.
  • We took a tuk tuk from the city centre. Plenty of stalls selling fruits, vegetable and household goods. The place was wet and soggy after a heavy rain. Practically whatever i was looking for can be found here, including silver ear ring. Stall holders here were very friendly and helpful.
  • Colourfull morningmarket, not aimed at tourists, but at the local customer. Bring your camera!
  • Big market you can reach walking from the city center.
