  • It is mainly for the pleasure of eyes that I visited this store because the prices of the items on sale is very high. It is possible to have a drink at the terrace in front of the store. There are several other stores Ock Pop Tok in this area, in addition to the fabricaion workshop located at the other end of the city along the Mekong.

  • I did end up buying a nice bag from here. No one would answer any of my questions about the bag - not sure if it was a language barrier or knowledge deficit. The clothes were very nice as well.  more »
  • It is not the cheapest place in the town, but offers the best quality, authentic Lao textiles weave by the local artist. Worth every dollar spent. The choice is abundant. Strongly recommended.  more »

  • Seemed like a very nice sustainable way to help local Lao nationals make an income from their skills. An incredible standard of quality, some of the art pieces were truly magnificent. They offer a free tuktuk to the weaving village where they offer a free tour and you can see people weaving and learn about the whole silk creation process! That was cool!
  • Great place to buy high quality, handmade fabrics. Nice variety, reasonable prices, and amazing craftsmanship. Note that this location is not their smaller flagship store on Sakkaline St. Both have nice merchandise but, as of Feb. 2014, this location had many more items on display.
  • I think this is now their flagship store. Get their tuktuk to take you to their weaving village [free] and see the artists at work.
  • This in-store boutiques stores opposite side of the road and do well. As goods and drinks a cup of Café, while it looks like a great place to take pictures. This is a very high price to sell wool, etc. There is no such thing as the bag was about $50.
