  • I did not expect the park to be so much fun. The zipline was awesome and well priced. Had a dip in the river, had lunch then left feeling very happy :)  more »
  • There isn't much to do for a couple without children - this place is better for family with children. Bad access road - gravel, a lot of dust, huge holes on the way. I don't recommend taking...  more »

  • It is, what the name says: a park. Sadly I thought it was more of a natural national park. What I came across was an artificial park, that's still - what seems to be - under construction at a lot of points. Entry fee is only 20.000 Kip, so it's alright, but if you want to do something more special like zip lining you'll pay at least 140.000 Kip. The biggest problem for me was getting lost all the time. The map they give you is no help at all and I'm considered to have a very good orientation, still I ran around in circles quite often. There are several points where a map is shown as well, but they didn't pin where you were standing right now, so they weren't helpful. The park looks a lot bigger on the map than it actually is. Their 45 minutes hike was 20 minutes for me. During march most of the big waterfalls were small or completely dry. Don't get me wrong. There were some really nice spots and once everything is green and finished (there was a lot of plain soil around, making it look rather boring) I think it has nice potential. You can easily find spots to relax and have a good time or make some decent photos. But it just wasn't worth the struggle to get there compared to the other places around Luang Prabang. The last 5 kilometers to the park are extremely difficult on motorbike. Some structural work for the road should be considered.
  • This park seems to be still underestimated. When we arrived at 11am only two other guest where there. So we had the whole park for us. At the first glance it seemed to be another park where you can book expensive tours and workshops. So we decided to do a tour on our own and just paid the entrance fee (20.000 Kip pP). And it was a very good decision! It’s a lovely place with some very beautiful short routes throughout some really nice prepared gardens and paths. A small river is running through it which you can follow. A lot of butterflies and a bee hive you can find. A restaurant and Café is also available inside. The street to the park is quite bumpy and it takes 30-40min to go there from Luang Prabang. It’s worth to go there.
  • This is a must do activity if you are in the area. We had a great time zip line and on the treetop and enjoyed also lunch and swimming in the river. Perfect for families. Only 30-40 minutes away from Luang Prabang
  • Terrible road to get there, do not take a motorcycle here. Very nice hiking and flowers. 20,000 kip for general admission, 160,000 kip for Zipline. Definitely worth 20,000 kip to get away from the tourists.
  • A great experience, people there are really friendly and helpful.
