  • definitely worth the hike up the mountain for the sunset viewing, just be ready to be around lots of people in a very small place, but everyone was very respectful.
  • Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the Mekong River. Lots of stairs and some religious buildings and statues.

  • The views are magnificent, and there many people in the evening, you can enjoy a good view even if not very romantic...

  • Beautiful Sunset view. Please spare time for walking up this hill.
  • Nice views of Luang Prabang from here, but not sure it's worth 20,000 kip. Noticed the fee attendant was gone after sunset, so maybe its free after dusk? Go early as crowds build at sunset.
  • A must see in LP! Quite tiring due to the stairs but the view at the top will make you forget all about it. Definitely go at Sunrise or Sunset! But be aware of crowds as it's a very popular time
  • Impressive place in luang prabang
  • A relaxing walk to reach the top. Get a good place to watch the sunset, it's really busy with tourists... And please! Don't buy the poor birds in tiny cages... It doesn't help.
