  • There are about 400 steps up (the side the easier) but the view of Luang Prabang is fantastic. The temple does not have those that can be seen in the city. We must avoid in early afternoon because of the heat it is better to go early in the morning or for the sunset.

  • Beautiful view of the city, but regular temple compared to others in the city. Beautiful sunset

  • Nice place to watch the sunset. Start your ascent from 5 pm to get a good position. The view on the top is amazing ! Nice walk to go to the top of the hill !  more »

  • Really nice view from the highest point in Luang Prabang town center. It is a tough enough climb to the top. You can really good sunset photos if you're willing to compete with hundreds of fellows tourists with the very same idea.
  • Could not get enough of this place, so many views and perspectives, incredible energy! Some go there for sunrise, others for sunset.. we went in the afternoon for a less crowded experience. Follow the dragon into the silence & magnificence 🐉
  • Scenic Mekong views. Must see. Worth to visit the ethnology centre on the way up or down. Also do not miss a walk along the hill on the city side of the mountain. Good place to observe the nature up close without many tourists around.
  • Mildly challenging climb in the March heat. Very good view of the surrounding area. 20,000 kipp to get a ticket to climb to the top. Right in the center of town so easy to get to.
  • Sunset viewing spot. Many people here for that, so recommend to go there earlier. In Feb, already nice viewing point was already occupied at 5pm, though the sunset was at 0630 pm...
