  • Project Kajsiab is a small grassroots project and you can feel the familiar atmosphere the moment you enter the place. The people in charge, Zjong and Boonchan, make you feel very at home. If you go t...  more »
  • The idea behind the project spoke to us and we decided to have a drink, a drink in the afternoon to see if it also would be nice to go to dinner in the evening. Super what all is built up and the project is properly addressed. The atmosphere when we arrived also felt pleasant.. We enjoyed our drinks and the view. Near the idyllic picture was not shattered. Down was a group of children at the ' play '. It was sickening to see how they coped with the animals. A few examples: a chicken was at its tail caught and hurled through the air. A duck was at his throat seized and completely shaken up. The Cup and his body flew all over the place. I didn't know what I saw. Even worse I found all the ' adult ' (no tourists!) who just watched and said nothing against the children and interventions. Here I thought yet.. This will have been something one-off, but when we left we saw it happen again. Terrible. Of this place we had not expected such a thing. It seemed to us a place where people had respect for the world around them and these were children who heard in the project. It didn't stop us therefore to have to go back for the food. Very sorry. ...

  • Daqui Home is a very special place. You can find them if you are looking for hotels, or search for restaurants, but it is not one of the two, it is much more. It is a home and a promise for the future for many people. To support this good cause can stay at their rustic bungalows (they have shower and fan, I don't know if there are some with air conditioning), eat or dine at their "restaurant" or buy them any artisan product. But ojo! I've read some negative reference which has surprised me, because they obviously don't seem to know the place where they were. I don't know deals accommodation or a restaurant professional, so you'll have to come with calm, patience and if you come with your eyes open, you'll see that the most important thing is not to serve you your dish in 15 minutes.
