Tat Somphamit Waterfalls, Don Khone

4.3
#1 of 7 in Parks in Champasak Province
See the rapid flow of Tat Somphamit Waterfalls, a cascade that according to local belief traps the evil spirits of both deceased people and animals. Rocky cliffs surround the waterfall, creating a dramatic natural scene. Walk along the edge of the cliffs to admire the rush of water and enjoy the views, keeping an eye out for water wheels used for generating power as you go. After your stroll, rest at a bungalow, grab a bite at a restaurant, or enjoy something lighter from one of the snack stands. • We came to visit this place as indicated on the entrance ticket is Currently driving L.P. 35,000 kip. The Park is spotless and well maintained. The sand of immaculate beaches. The bungalows at the bar are scenic and very hospitable. We spent half a day in complete relax looking at the rapids of the mighty Mekong River. Highly recommended.
