Kuwait Towers, Kuwait City
(3/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web)
The city's signature landmark and the nation's most recognizable symbols, Kuwait Towers offer 360-degree views of the city and the Gulf. The three towers--with characteristic blue-green spheres covered with more than 41,000 enameled discs--were constructed during the 1970s. Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed chose the design, which resembles a tiled dome of a mosque. The highest tower rises 187 m (614 ft) above the ground, featuring observation decks on two levels, plus a revolving restaurant and a cafe. In March 2016, the towers opened to the public after a major four-year refurbishment process. • they are the signs and icons of Kuwait and must visit. admission fees are high. seeing the city and the see from the top globe is fantastic. the area around towers is not very attractive.
  • Must visit as they are the title of kuwait giving you a panoramic view for the city and sea. Entrance fees were high. Srrounding area needs improvment.
  • The towers are definitely worth seeing. They're finally open again after years of being closed. They're pretty much unchanged from 20 years ago (inside and outside). They are a marvel given when they ...  more »
