Kuwait Towers, Kuwait City

3.8
The city's signature landmark and the nation's most recognizable symbols, Kuwait Towers offer 360-degree views of the city and the Gulf. The three towers--with characteristic blue-green spheres covered with more than 41,000 enameled discs--were constructed during the 1970s. Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed chose the design, which resembles a tiled dome of a mosque. The highest tower rises 187 m (614 ft) above the ground, featuring observation decks on two levels, plus a revolving restaurant and a cafe. In March 2016, the towers opened to the public after a major four-year refurbishment process. • Tower at 120 meters high. Nice view of the city and sea. Rotate 360 degrees overview. Bar service. Of day great view. Better in the dark. With the city is much more impressive. Many multicolored lights. Color pattern. Only downside in my opinion the cost. In fact three kd I think they're a little too much. For the remainder of the sights in Kuwait City. Great view out of the amusement park.

  • Amazing tower! A perfect view to the city and the sea. The food in their restaurant was wonderful. One of the best restaurant I have visited. The selection was huge. I recommend it to every one.
  • Only 3KD for the viewing sphere! Once you get up there (180m high) the view is amazing. The floor slowly spins around, there are concessions available, and even those big metal viewing binoculars. Great value, nice staff, and very enjoyable experience
  • The Kuwait Towers is one of the most recognizable landmarks associated with the state of Kuwait. She is made up of three tall structures, a fashionable water storage tank, a conical communication structure and the third and largest structure consisting of a viewing center and restaurant. The Kuwait Towers is a seductive tourist attraction and one of the most photographed structures in Kuwait. She is located on the sea front.
  • Spectacular view of Kuwait. 120 Meter tall tower is one of the top destinations in Kuwait. Ticket price is bit high.
  • Great view. Good food with many options. It is a must see.

Where to stay in Kuwait City

Few look much further than the peninsula of Kuwait City when looking for accommodations. And with good reason too, with plenty of attractions by the waterfront and a wide range of accommodations located here, including skyscraper hotels, standard chains, basic guesthouses, and charming boutiques. But looking further back from the water can bring up some hidden treasures, with the older (or, at least, less recently renovated) districts still possessing a certain storied charm with their aged look and more traditional markets. You'll find hostels, guesthouses, and a few luxury options to boot.
