Kuwait Towers, Kuwait City

(3.7/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
The city's signature landmark and the nation's most recognizable symbols, Kuwait Towers offer 360-degree views of the city and the Gulf. The three towers--with characteristic blue-green spheres covered with more than 41,000 enameled discs--were constructed during the 1970s. Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed chose the design, which resembles a tiled dome of a mosque. The highest tower rises 187 m (614 ft) above the ground, featuring observation decks on two levels, plus a revolving restaurant and a cafe. In March 2016, the towers opened to the public after a major four-year refurbishment process. • I visited Kuwait Towers last week and must say it has its own charm. They may not be so tall but combined three towers of different styles add to beauty of it. It is best to go about 30 mins before the sunset time to enjoy city and tower views. Do visit if you happen to be in Kuwait City.
  • Kuwait towers is the most known symbol of Kuwait. Not a bad view. It has a restaurant that rotates allowing a change of view. It was a very good place to go to in the seventies and eighties of the last century.
  • There is an observatory on the 120 floor. It was special that the floor is slowly rotated. The circular figure resembles a mermaid scale. However, it was disappointing that the glass window was not clean enough to see the scenery. It is a landmark attraction of Kuwait, so it is worth visiting
  • It's amazing to see the towers, especially at night when it gets lighted, u will love to spend hours seeing it.. one of my favourite place in Kuwait.. which I visit frequently...
  • Tourist destination. They have a restaurant on the top floor. Very nice view of Kuwaiti City. Food is extremely expensive in the restaurant. You might want to get some snacks and that's it.
