  • Beautiful mosque. Clean, great interior and nice staff that are helpful in tours. More importantly during prayers it is very organized and it has very good AC and amazing speakers. The best mosque in Kuwait and one of the best things to see in Kuwait City.
  • One of the most beautiful mosques you'll ever see, specially when it comes to the interiors. You can also take a guided tour which is for free.
  • There are free guided tours which is awesome. The staff are so welcoming offering you refreshments as you wait for a guide. They give ladies attire too to wear. The inside of the mosque is stunning. At the end they give you a bag filled with books & posters. The Grand Mosque is the number one thing to do in Kuwait City.
  • biggest mosque in Kuwait known for being crowded during Ramadan for all the Muslims who from from different places in Kuwait to pray over there for taraweeh and jiyam prayers
  • Extremely beautiful interiors. Great and peaceful place for offering prayers.

Where to stay in Kuwait City

Few look much further than the peninsula of Kuwait City when looking for accommodations. And with good reason too, with plenty of attractions by the waterfront and a wide range of accommodations located here, including skyscraper hotels, standard chains, basic guesthouses, and charming boutiques. But looking further back from the water can bring up some hidden treasures, with the older (or, at least, less recently renovated) districts still possessing a certain storied charm with their aged look and more traditional markets. You'll find hostels, guesthouses, and a few luxury options to boot.
