Get a close up view of hippos and crocodiles at Mzima Springs, a series of natural springs at the foot of volcanic hills. Clear, naturally filtered water creates a scenic stream abundant with pools and rapids, a habitat for vervet and Sykes' monkeys and a variety of birds. Wild date trees, raffia palms, waterberries, and sycamore figs luxuriate by the banks. Observe underwater life from a circular glass viewing chamber built into the side of one of the pools.   • This place is very relaxing as guests get out of the vehicle and take an escorted walking safari around the nature.
  • It's located in the west of Tsavo National Park and it's around 48km from mtito andei. Has clear waters and it's a popular spot with crocodiles and hippos to see.. There's also an underground viewpoint where you can watch the fish swim under water.
