  • Highly recommend the gorge walking (needs a guide- 2000 KES) which has spectacular scenery). The geothermal baths are also a must located in a spectacular surrounding!  more »
  • Visit here early in the morning and ensure you walk through the gorge, take your time. It's enriching and full of wonderful and magical secrets. After a long, fun and 'dusty' experience finish it off ...  more »
  • Took bike down. Brakes are ok but not superb condition. We did the hike only to the viewpoint, the view is great. We wanted to conserve energy for the bike uphil back. Views are spectacular. Watch out...  more »

  • A very exciting place to visit. It's well known for it's wildlife and the gorge "Hell's Gate". There are also rock climbing equipment for the Central and Fisher's towers. Visitors are able to hire bicycles and ride through the park. Then the Ol Karia spa is just nearby, making Hell's Gate park one of the most visited.
  • I have camped at Hells Gate 3 times now. I love the camp sites. They have clean facilities. Cold shower and running water. They have a cooking shed and place to make a fire. Like a fire pit. The camp site is on a cliff that gets dope sunrise views. You do have to buy your own firewood at the main entrance as you're not allowed to use the trees in the park. In terms of wildlife we saw zebra, giraffe, hyena, gazelle and more. You can also walk in this park and cycle.
  • A great small park, the first glimpse is the narrowing canyon, high and sheer. On top and stripping those cliffs, the overwhelming jungle and the screams of the baboons from within the trees. Incredible. Very nice one-day visit. They have a lot of activities like biking or hiking.
  • if you are a true adventurer take the bikes at the gate, get a guide and explore hell. wonderful experience with everything. will be back. also ask for Daniel-the best guide.
  • A great place for safari drives, rock climbing, trail cycling. Also has picnic sites. If you want an outdoor gateway for the weekend this is a wonderful place!!😊😊
