  • I am not fond of malls but the new wing has so much to offer. I was particularly enchanted by Karrel Lounge, a very quaint place with matching ambience. The food was fresh though served in very small ...  more »
  • You can come and go in this mall without being "assaulted" by bulky vendors. There are shops and memories of the Kenya products. You can do your shopping in a quiet and find souvenirs of the Kenya in a dozen stores. You have the option to "haggle" to bring down the price of a few hundred shillings and go to half of the price in some cases, it works. He y' has really all the amenities on-site (restaurant, ATM, telephony...) and it's quite secure.

  • The new addition( incorporating a Hotel) to this older style mall is bringing an exciting array of modern shops and a variety of interesting eateries. The original section with its low ceilings is a b...  more »

  • I love how there are different areas for a variety of settings. The food court has a many restaurants to choose from and has plenty of space ideal for groups and family on a day out. Definitely passing by again
  • The Old Wing: foodcourt has stood the test of time and still gets a good amount of business for lunch. There are about 10 different food options. All diff. types of Asian food - burgers etc. the stores are small and the nakumatt has shut. The New Wing: the new open air mall with many mezzanine levels is beautiful but still getting populated with stores. There is a new smaller chic food court in the back.
  • The Village market mall is great. A little pricey on products but everything else is straight, except only ONE business. The management at Tintoria was more concerned about money then the customer. I paid for starch pants and the service was not provided after like 4 or 5 days. They told me they would reemburse me on my next trip there, however I told them I was not coming back so I needed my money reembursed. They told me they would not...therefore they took my money such as a thief would. I reccomend for anybody to never go to this business unless you want to lose money.
  • This is the ultimate mall experience this side of Africa and possibly, the whole of Africa. The design delicately infuses contemporary african art with modern Western themes. It's an absolute joy walking through the well lit indoor and outdoor corridors connecting the old wing to the new one. There must be over a 100 shops inside it offering a myriad of items including banking and medical seevices. Interesting to note is that there is an art gallery in the new wing where one can view and purchase local art work. The food court also hosts numerous stores with my favourite one being Afta Eats. To top it all off, there are now two hotels located inside this amazing complex: Tribe and Trademark. The latter is new with warm and pleasant staff. My experience at this new hotel, though short, was excellent mainly due to the warm hearted nature of their staff. Overall, the Village Market is a must visit for residents and tourists alike.
  • Neat place to hang out... Plenty to explore..
