  • Beautiful place to spend a day or two vacationing with family or friends. It's amazing the wide variety of animals they have put in this little beautiful sanctuary. The animals are well taken care of,. A gorgeous place. I love it, love it, love it, love it.
  • If you love nature, you'll love Haller Park. The guide was well informed and the tour was just inspiring. Seeing exotic animals and the giraffes were the top highlights for me.
  • Nice place for a simple cool and sometimes breezy walk in the Mombasa heat. Not that many animals to see though and you're better off planning your trip around the feeding times. 11 am and 3 pm for the Giraffes and 4 pm for the Hippos, Buffalo and Crocodiles.
  • Nice place to see different kinds of animals. Try stopping by on a weekend, you will be thrilled
  • Haller Park, formerly known as Bamburi Nature Trail, was the first man-made sanctuary to receive the United Nations Environmental Program Global 500 Roll of Honor Award and today this small preserve in the north coast of Mombasa is a model for other reclamation projects. What was once limestone quarries is now a thriving ecosystem of forest, grasslands and ponds with walking trails for you to view the fenced wildlife, such as hippo, giraffe, antelope, buffalo and smaller mammals, as well as bird species, such as eagle, sandpiper, weaver, stork, kingfisher, ibis, owl, heron, egret and many others. The sections of the park include the game sanctuary, reptile park, fish farm, crocodile pens, giraffe viewing area and palm gardens
