  • Oh if you ever visit Mombasa this should be a place to visit without fail.... The great history lives here, the studies of our time are all seen in this place, the great war weapons can be seen in this place, it's old buildings make it even look more beautiful 😍😍😍 I loved it and I loved learning and relating my old school studies
  • Located just near Mombasa CBD, the place is easily accessible. It's an ancient Place rich in history. Sufficient write up for most exhibitions makes it easier to understand. It's not a place to hang around for long hours, once you finish going round.
  • Fantastic place to learn about the history of Mombasa. From the art galleries to canons and scenic views of the ocean, one is bound to enjoy and learn here. You can walk around by yourself thanks to the noted posted on each item or also get a guide to take you through. Don't forget to carry your cameras to capture the moments and off course take a 🤳.
  • Had a great time in the fort guided with a very informative guide... Erick..... Who is also.... Interesting,interactive... And. Engaging
  • Beautiful place and if you get a guide the experience is much better. The fort is built to resemble a man lying down and it's exciting to visit each part and learn about the various facts. The guides are free and nice. Tips are encouraged but not mandatory.
