We enjoyed our morning tour at Kiambethu. We had an international visitor with us and this was a pleasant way to spend half the day. Fiona makes you feel right at home on her property, and her knowledge of the tea and the entire process is wonderful. The small tour groups are advantageous because it takes away the commercial feeling. The fact that this is a family farm is also unique. You even get to look at old family photo albums and sit in the family dining room while enjoying a private lunch. The food was wonderful and even my young kids enjoyed the day.
This is just a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle. The environment is very serene and inviting and very well kept. The owner is very hospitable as well as the staff. They even make their own ice cream from the milk gotten from their cows. Its a hidden gem
