  • There's a part of the Constitution walking street where they have statues dedicated to famous authors, writers, and poets from Russia and Kazakh origin. There's also a park behind it with lovely fount...  more »
  • It is a complex of monuments of various writers and fountain. Close to Central Park. Interesting place to walk with the family. In the evening a lot of mosquitoes))

  • The monument was created in December 2006 year. Sculpture consists of two figures-a. Pushkin and Abai Kunanbaev, connected by a symbolic tree of life, which on the one hand, as would be shared by these two creations era poets, and, on the other hand, unites them as eternal symbol. Bronze figures of poets are set on a pedestal made of solid granite, height 2.2 m height sculpture themselves is 3.5 m Monument is surrounded by a slender Colonnade with a diameter of 50 m. Monument to Abai and Pushkin in Petropavlovsk is a vivid symbol of friendship of Kazakh and Russian peoples.

  • Very controversial monument. Burly, towering Abay and skinny little puny Pushkin made one growth, so not to offend anyone. If you look out of the Windows of the Akimat, it seems that the colonnade and Portico is a bench and a couple of poets wants for this bench to sit. Wood in General, from Goya nightmares or Bosch.
