Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 20+ reviews on the web
Mashkhur-Jusup Mosque, a large and architecturally unique building, sits within a leafy park area. The mosque features two main prayer halls, the larger of which can accommodate 1,500 worshippers at any one time. Construction of the mosque, which opened in 2012, took three years, with the complex demonstrating classic features of Islamic architecture. Take time to admire the large dome and the four towering minarets topped with glistening blue marble. As you wander around the complex, you'll find many other facilities, such as a school, library, museum, theater, and more. • It is quite impressive to look at, and this is the only real attraction in town although they did not le tme in when I went.
  • A large surrounding area-Park. There is a stone in the Park, to which put hands and make a wish. You can see that the money for the mosque less than allocated to mosque in Astana, but done very well. And the main thing is the dome. It is clear that it is already using modern technologies (200 years ago such a dome would be impossible), but still-the space inside is fascinating. Not a Muslim, was in not during ceremonies, not heard, as is voice in this Hall. Think acoustics too impressive.

  • This is a sacred place, love citizen because there very quietly and calmly. A large area with walkways, benches and flowers, roses, and more recently still, and a pair of peacocks!
