(4.1/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Enter the enormous tent structure of Khan Shatyr for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Opened in 2006, the British-designed 150 m (492 ft) tall building is made of translucent, heat-absorbing plastic that maintains a warm temperature inside year-round. The center houses an amusement park with a drop tower, log ride, and 500 m (1,640 ft) monorail; a mini-golf course; and an indoor beach resort with paddleboats. Well-lit at night and with a variety of activities, this landmark building is especially popular with families. • As other people have said it is a nice shopping mall with the structure somewhat different to most other malls however I walked around a mall in Leeds UK yesterday and they had all the same shops so p...  more »
  • This Mall from outside is inspired by the famous tent nomadic peoples of kazakhstan, the yurt ... and the tradition ends here, because once you enter, you feel like you're in Assago, Roma, Catanzaro, or one of the many malls Italians--with brands like Carpisa, Camicissima, Pull and Bear, Stradivarius, etc. .. call her if you want modernity. The eccentricity of Kazakhs though is just outside, climbing towards the top of the yurt there is faced with a floor refreshment with plenty of local proposals, such a plan dedicated to recreational attractions dedicated to children, and ... last but not least, the sky beach club, a sort of Caribbean Beach in the middle of the steppe ... There is also a supermarket, where alas abound Kinder delice, Nutella and other homegrown delicacies, if you want to taste local products need some Cyrillic ... or an internet connection ...

  • Khan shatyr Astana landmark shopping center has a fairly good location, excellent design and extensive range of services. But all in order. Khan shatyr-a great place for shopping. A large number of shops, frequent discounts, beautiful design, nice music and brushwood, and all kinds of goods. Shopping: SHOPPING CENTER provides all kinds of shops for any client. Ranging from very young children, ending a relatively older people. luxury shops, of course, there's no (excluding Modial (fur) and Armani Jeans (casual wear). So for those who wants something branded or evening (Paul dresses and matching accessories) will have to go in Keruen. Everything else is the same in the Khan Shatyr available. Fur, shoes, casual and a great range of children's clothing. frequent discounts and activities. Departments of cosmetics available. Most brands are available and at affordable prices. Banks, grocery stores, stationery and appliances: all this is this SHOPPING CENTER-Green products. banks and exchange offices-all are. Stationery-NT. Technique-Sulpak. Cafes and restaurants: restaurants of different cuisines, Turkish sweets, cocktails and Cafe shops of sweets. Food Court: leaves much to be desired. Huge queues, uncomfortable chairs, the smell of fried-not the most pleasant combination. Restrooms: in general there is no Odor. alot when not come incompetent people from small towns. Conclusions: excluding food court and restrooms, pulls on a 4.

  • from outside it does impresed you but inside same as anyother mall you would see anyhwere in the world altough the brands are limited. there are nice cafe and restaurants on 4th floor but not in the center, you should walk around circle , on the center there are fast foods not much interesting place but your are in Kazakhstan not in new york at the and
  • Nice mall but oddly shaped inside as well as outside. Also not the best food selection. Only a food court with "fast food" types
  • Nice place to go with a family, on weakens it is possible to listen to concerts of orchestra or contemporary Kazakh singers for free
  • Best shopping center in Astana. A lot of shops, eating areas, kid areas and Sky Beach on the 5th floor. The last is a must to visit.
  • A nice mall with a good view on Astana monument. There is also a theme park at the top!
