Astana Allee, Astana

4.1
#2 of 7 in Shopping in Astana
Explore futuristic architecture from the well-manicured central gardens of Astana Allee, a landscape avenue stretching from the modern arch of the state-run natural gas company headquarters, to a giant tent-shaped shopping mall. Climb a huge observation tower with a golden egg-shaped ball on it--representing the egg of a mythical bird--to enjoy a panorama of congressional halls, curved gilt skyscrapers, a giant glass pyramid, a modern mosque, a neo-classical theater, the presidential palace, and a marble-plated triumph arch. Take a stroll around this bizarre scenery, which lights up colorfully at night, and walk the Millennium Axis line, named and designed by a leading Japanese architect. I haven't watched broadcasts of Astana. Decided to see with their own eyes. Impression of striking. very nice, modern city. Mass attractions. even if you travel and you have not much time-walk on water-green Boulevard from home to Khan prinset Shhatyra Ministersv a lot of impressions. and if there is more time-you need to visit the Oceanarium, the Khan shatyr. Baiterek. And Expo 2017. If the exhibition and closed-attractions will remain. The architecture is amazing. Necessarily need to visit the so-called "Desert Flower", the concert hall "Kazakhstan". And certainly olery theatre and Ballet. About Astana you can talk endlessly. But it is better to see with your own eyes!

Although a bit far in Astana is a city that I found the opportunity to roam and really pretty despite Kazakhstan's capital soon speed no advanced historical trip to the area, but it will be good to see the city and the architecture.

Illuminated buildings, illuminations. In the day you may want to go for a walk. Overall, cool place. The contrast of the modernity of the buildings of the SOVIET UNION-is impressive.

Where to stay in Astana

With the rush of building going on in Astana, the capital city adds more and more accommodations to its urban area each year. Like most planned cities, the development has started from the center and fanned out, latching onto parks and crossroads to make new commercial, business, and entertainment districts. Some sky-high hotels offer all available luxuries and impressive views across the downtown area, while some more humble hotels serve as pleasant but basic options. Hostels with shared rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms sit on the less decorated side streets of the central district.
