Construction was completed in the early 20th century as the garrison officers ' House. And it survived not one shock and natural disasters. One of the few buildings in the city Faithful. That survived during the most devastating earthquake in Kazakhstan in the early 1911goda. With 1980goda there is a Museum of musical instruments, assembled a large collection of stunning exhibits. Ten years later, the Government of the Kazakh SSR decided to assign the name of the Museum Yhylasa Dukenuly (1843-1916)-Kazakh folk composer-kyuishi, kobyzista, one of the founders of the school of kobyz. In the Museum's storerooms and collections over thousands of exhibits. And more than 40 types and varieties only Kazakh folk musical instruments-dombyra, kobyz, dabyl, zhetygen, sherter, Kerei syrnay,, sabyzgy, sazgen, dudyga, adyrna, tokyldak and others.
