  • The developing countries do not have much of a great thing. Inside the facility to have a somewhat corny. be sure there's plenty to see there is no time left to go when once gabogil. The building's appearance is more impressive contraption

  • Educational for all ages but the atmosphere and exhibits since I was in high school I now already mom;) The price of admission is available for many of the Museum's Location is good only with parking is sometimes difficult. There is a wonderful park located on Calle Gandhi new Square Shopping Center in Almaty, Dostyk Plaza, ramstore Also plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. In general I advise

  • Relatively small museum which lacks proper English descriptions. 2-3 hours should be enough to visit. I really liked the yurt and the exhibition around it. I was expecting a bit more but still worth to visit. There is a small gift shop too but it seemed overpriced.
  • Interesting place, but unfortunately, almost all exhibition, except 1st, have built in soviet style. But nice to visit. Tickets for foreigners cost 500 tenge/person in july of '16.
  • only a few short explanations in English. still worth the visit
  • I went to this museum with the promise that it was somewhere I could spend two whole days in. It has, in fact, only two permanent exhibits, one on the history of Kazakstan, and one on the life of the president. The cost seemed very inviting, but you ended up having to pay 5 times as much as the entry fee to get into the temporary exhibits too. I saw the whole place in 2 hours, and that included 1/2 hour wandering around the craft fair in the atrium.
  • Despite being national museum, it's quite small. It is interesting and it is definitely place you should visit in Almaty. Entrance for foreigners - 500 tenge.
