  • The unique in Kazakhstan monument rock art-Taңbaly (so called this place in Kazakh language) or Tamgaly (name in Kyrgyz, Russian and English languages). This open-air historic site included on UNESCO's World Heritage list and is from Almaty, at a distance of 180 km from Taraz-480 km, Astana-1080 km. There is a reserve at Copa road-Kanshengel. Go past 40 km stretch of the path is quite difficult-there's virtually no concept of roads, so better to go on a jeep. Petroglyphs, or rock carvings, the most significant and numerous natural monuments Taңbaly view (Tamgaly). They all performed at open rocks in technology piketazha, rarely engraving using metal tools or stones. The total number of petroglyphs approaching five thousand. Accumulation of petroglyphs in the Gorge are divided into five groups. Mostly richly presented the animal world: camels, horses, goats with horns, dlinnjushhimi bulls. You can also see a rider on horseback, scenes of intimate life. And most mysterious drawings-with a picture of "Sun-deity". Often there are tourists here from Spain, Holland, Germany and other countries. countries, which is not surprising. After all, Taңbaly (Gallery) is one of the most unique places on Earth.

  • Rock drawing as in Lascaux. It is almost alone on the road and enjoys the art of that time. Apparently not so popular among the Einheimschen like "Chimbulak" or "MEO", but I found this place very interesting. The Infrastruktor are badly built, anyway it's worth to take this rare among the hollow of the trip. Again a Jeep with driver hire and even a travel guide with this and just go, it costs only a day trip. Was your own 2011.

  • In fact reach here is not difficult, but we went with an average speed of 40-50 km/h in summer unbearable heat, better come after 6:00 pm and quietly walk to explore the ancient rock art-petroglyphs. We watched the petroglyphs in Alta (Norway) and Baku (Gobustan) is not worse
