  • Rock drawing as in Lascaux. It is almost alone on the road and enjoys the art of that time. Apparently not so popular among the Einheimschen like "Chimbulak" or "MEO", but I found this place very interesting. The Infrastruktor are badly built, anyway it's worth to take this rare among the hollow of the trip. Again a Jeep with driver hire and even a travel guide with this and just go, it costs only a day trip. Was your own 2011.

  • In fact reach here is not difficult, but we went with an average speed of 40-50 km/h in summer unbearable heat, better come after 6:00 pm and quietly walk to explore the ancient rock art-petroglyphs. We watched the petroglyphs in Alta (Norway) and Baku (Gobustan) is not worse

  • I went to Tamgaly Gorge today and it was a great experience. An amazing number of petroglyphs. But please note that this UNESCO site is NOT the same place as Tangaly Tas, which is on the Ili River.
