A vast natural valley dotted with sandstone and granite cliffs, Wadi Rum Protected Area presents a dramatic picture of desert beauty, accessible to visitors for tours and activities. The area is inhabited by Bedouin tribes, some of which still sleep in traditional goat-hair tents. The natives also run much of the local eco-tourism economy--research ahead to book a hiking, camelback, or jeep tour with them. Experienced climbers may also be interested in checking out rock-climbing options in the wadi. • We booked a safari trip from Memories Aicha luxury camp and it was worth it. Climbing the sand dunes, driving through giant mountains, admiring the sunset; everything id amzing and relaxing.  more »
  • One of the most beautiful places I;ve ever been to. The tours / excursion have been standardized a lot and everybody sees roughly the same points, but scale of tourism is still relatively modest...  more »
  • The Wadi Rum is by far the most beautiful place I have been, so many different types of rock formations and if you are part of a tour they will take you to some spectacular places. Please read more...  more »

  • A must do trip at least once in a lifetime. One has to hike the mountain next to the camp. The panorama cannot be described because the English dictionary is limited when trying to explain such a remarkable experience. I'll try my best though. The experience was subliminal, astounding, and breathtaking. أجمل من قطعة أرض على المريخ.
  • Amazing camp to stay for the night. The guide and the host is really kind and welcoming. We did the desert tour with this camp and it was really fantastic. I recommend totally. They made a homemade food in bedouin style and its incredible to learn this culture. Go and enjoy
  • The accommodation, foods and everything is good. but the tour they offered to me. As an individual traveler I expected to pay a more to go on a tour. Since I was told I’ll be with another group of 4 in the morning for camel rides, I thought the price would’ve been fare as I’m not on a one-person trip. However the camel sunrise ride was not impressive at all. Waited a bit until the guide came then we didn’t actually go to the dune to see sunrise. Just 20min ride to somewhere 1km away from the camp and 20min back. I could’ve even walked to the place in 30min with ease as it’s not dunes. I was charged a lot. When I arrived visitor center I realized I could have a camel for 6hrs for the price I paid. Not just 1hr aimless wandering.
  • Beautiful place. Amazing rock formations and red sand. I feel sorry we only took a 2-hour jeep ride. It is definitely worth to stay longer or better - stay overnight in the desert.
  • Ok I can't give more than 2 stars to sun city camp... which I believe its old name was (magic Bedouin star) -or at least that's what Google gave me- anyways.. the 2 stars I am giving is for the amazing scene only... we paid around 260$ (USD) per night for nothing... the food was barely eatable!! No activities or camp fire what so ever! The bubble was freezing although we had an AC- the breakfast was only from 6:30-8:30 AM and if you missed that time then bye-bye... the bubbles were kinda isolated.. so if anything happened to you only God and you will know about it!!
