Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 7,000+ reviews on the web
Originally built over 2,000 years ago by the Arab Nabataeans, Petra World Heritage Site serves as a representative example of ancient rock-cut architecture and water collection techniques. Visitors know the fortress and important post on Middle Eastern trade routes for its reddish color. Approach the ancient site by hiking an easy 1 km (0.6 mi) path through steep rock cliffs. Upon arrival, you'll find hundreds of surviving tombs carved in relief out of the rock, as well as a Roman-style amphitheater, a Nabataean monastery, and an intricately detailed treasury. Wear comfortable shoes and a hat to protect your head from the sun, and carry plenty of drinking water. • breath taking, I mean the view and the journey. Follow the steps of Indiana Jones and see what he saw and what he did not see.
  • Walk passed the main route + route to Ad-Dair. Just happened in both parties 19 km. The route is quite complex, sometimes by the sweep of donkeys and reserve gifts, but be sure to follow the path to the top and enjoy a coffee with a view.

  • You saw this movie with h. Ford about Indiana Jones? )) Is Peter. The Grail there, of course not, but there are ancient artifacts, some of which defy human understanding. Majestically. One of the wonders of the world, no doubt.
