  • Not only a church but also a Mosaic museum. It was finished after 10 years building. The church is not big but beautiful.
  • The city of Madaba, situated in the fertile Moab plateau. In 1896 is discovered in the pavement of a church of the SVI a mosaic surprising, whose interest lies in that reproduces the topography of Palestinian, Syria, Peninsula of the Sinai and low Egypt, such which were in said time. The Church Orthodox is very well cared and is known and famous by hosting the great treasure of Jordan, is the mosaic more old of land Santa known in the world. A part of it was mutilated in the construction of the current church. Its value is incalculable.

  • Very sacred place of worship. Worth visiting. The architecture & artifacts are well preserved for us to feel the ancient times.
  • It's a must see for Christians interested in how long the word of God has been preached. The beautiful Mosaic artwork is unbelievable.
  • Not the most interesting thing in the world, but still pretty cool.
  • Saint George Church has oldest mosaic map that includes Jerusalem too.
