  • This church is very beautiful from inside. It has beatiful work of map on the floor done by mosaic. Must visit this place
  • We Christians, pointed out this House as the birthplace of S. John. Known at birth all called him Zechariah as his father. His mother said that is would call John, asked his father on the particular, asked a splint and wrote: John is his name, in that time recovered the speaks. From 1674, the Franciscans was rescued from Muslims, who for at least two centuries had used it as a block. Since their excavations the Baptist has been linked to the home of Zacharias and Elisabeth and the birth of John. It is not a church that stands out by its outside or inside, has only symbolic value in its history.
