One of the world's more unusual bodies of water, Dead Sea sits at one of the lowest elevations on Earth. Rich in salt and in history, the lake is nearly ten times saltier than any ocean. Feel the peculiar sensation of floating in water some 428 m (1,404 ft) below sea level, just as Queen Cleopatra did in the 1st century BCE. Surrounded by dozens of resorts with both private and public beaches, the sea remains a favorite destination for taking dips in the mineral-rich waters, framed by the Judean desert and mountains. One of my favorite things that I've experienced! Loved getting to feel the sensation of floating effortlessly. Got here by booking with a tour and had a great experience!

Wonderful adventure! Beautiful landscapes and scenery! Was amazed to learn that the Dead Sea is the lowest point on land! It’s super salty water makes you float so easily and the black mud is found right on the beach and you can cover yourself with it right there on the spot, which was so great! This whole experience is one of a kind!

Very dead. Nice and salty. Just like Hugh Fielding in an Overwatch game because hes a bad Lucio i am better he should heck off.
-
Truly wonderful experience here at the lowest(accessible) point on earth! The dead sea where many biblical stories take place. The water in the dead sea has a very high salt content roughly 5 times more salt than a typical sea. So if you're planning to take a dip here be careful of your eyes! They'll burn for a whole day if that water gets in them.

Until the international community is able to apply sufficient pressure on the Israeli and Jordanian governments and companies that are exploiting this incredible resource to find a solution to this disappearing sea the tragedy will continue. It is still a fun experience to float in the water and be caked in the mud, but the rough nearly 2km journey from the spa to the seashore is appalling.
