  • It is a typical Arab souq, where day Friday offer different goods. However, it is quite small and did not appear to me to be particularly attractive considering that other street markets tend to be larger and offer a greater variety of products. Only if you are close by, otherwise pointless travel a considerable distance from Amman for a visit

  • A great way to spend a Friday afternoon (they only open on Fridays and in the summer), you can find lots of old and new things in this souk (bazar style). For sure worth a visit.  more »

  • Sooq jara only opens in summer time on Fridays .Its a place where you can find diverse collection of hand made antiques and its more like an exhibition for antiques from all parts of the kingdom. This place is an important part of the culture of the city. Additionally you can find books to buy and at the end of the road there is a rest area where you can eat sweets and drink juices. Must visit if you are having fun on Friday in the rainbow st.
