  • Great Visit to a great location I really enjoy visiting Ahl Alkahf location and Masjed the area over all good but the location is great
  • The cave is located in the South-East of Amman at the mosque compound on the street Ahl Al Kahf. Admission is free. Keys to the entrance to the cave is located near the Sheikh of the mosque is considered the narrative «cave» 18-th is a Koranic verse version of Christian tradition, which was known to the inhabitants of the ancient settlements on the territory of modern Amman even prior to the adoption of Islam in this city. It was in Amman and nowadays show Cave of sleepers (Christian Al-kahf, Ashâb al-Kahf, "those in the cave"). The Sura describes the dominated, zasnuvših in the cave. This story is complicated and not easily accessible for understanding. Duration of sleep is 309 years. Instructions to a specific location in the text the youths sleep no. Sleepers was six, and they passed military service in Syria (which is why they cave in Amman rather than in Ephesus). The seventh was a shepherd with a dog, which the teens met on the way to the cave, and who joined them. In the Quran, the location of the cave is not precisely specified, but the details of the story suggests that not Asiatic cave and burial on the territory of the Roman necropolis in the area of modern Amman in Syria and Palestine as far back as pre-Islamic period tied this legend. Seven sleepers in the Ottoman Empire were considered patrons of navigation. In Wednesday sailors were popular calligraphic compositions in the form of a ship, composed of the names of the seven sleepers and on Muslim version, asleep in a cave with them dogs named Kitmir. In some Muslim countries, the name also on nadpisyvali Kitmir Epistles, to protect the last of the missing.
