The Tanigawadake Ropeway is Japanese aerial lift line, operated by Tanigawadake Ropeway Company. The Tōbu Group company also operates another aerial lift line, Harunasan Ropeway. Opened in 1960, the line climbs Mount Tanigawa Tenjindaira Ski Resort, Minakami, Gunma. The line is operated all seasons, transporting skiers, hikers, or tourists.

Where to stay in Yuzawa-machi

As a popular ski resort town, Yuzawa-machi offers plenty in the way of accommodations, all close to the main attractions. Following the route cut across the landscape by the train line, the main high-rise hotels and guesthouses cluster around the stations. Individual ski resorts have lots of lodgings, including onsite hotels and rental apartments.
