  • The shrine located in Yonezawa Castle, dedicated to the God of war, Kenshin Uesugi. There are several sites dotted with historical monuments of the Uesugi family, Yonezawa-Shi, history fans to visit, is a fascinating city. Is to first visit the Yonezawa, Uesugi shrine.

  •  From Yonezawa station arrived within 15 minutes by city bus. That area can determine the origin of the Uesugi family, among them Uesugi shrine Kenshin Uesugi yozan and as gods Yonezawa Castle moats erected. Near Kenshin, yozan, also previously aired "tenchijin" scenic and direct River and continuing public image is enshrined. Regardless of season, is visited by many citizens.

  • During the lunar month of August I went. Lotus is a Shinto shrine located in Yonezawa Castle toe has been planted in the moat was blooming beautifully. I don't think shrine in Castle toe for a suitable tourism so if I have time I think I'll drop by as well. Visitors parking is available outside the Castle toe is parked in.
