  • Before the rainy season in the poppy flower picking went. In heavy traffic, takes an hour and a half, finally to be revealed in the flower garden. As soon as poppies are like people. Because it already passed the peak of the bloom, or picking on others and what's new. Flowers are less imagination than in here and there, children are flowers on, have fun, seemed satisfied.

  • Keikyū kurihama Beach from the station, passing through the street, 15 minutes on foot. The train arrives, and running a park there. Use single ride adults 210 yen, here, to go to the end, from there planned return on foot. I have to go to the end, end one off at the Cafe before, even better. Seats in the cafes, sea view, our Cup of tea, relax. Then relax foot bath with herb garden. And, in the last season of the, was healthy and fun excursions to the poppy garden, excellent. Like instant coffee 200 yen bought at the first train station was very nice, but is otherwise satisfied.

  • Poppy months are the best, but cosmos in October are good as well. Dogs are allowed, but to ride the train they have to be in a carrier.
  • Nice place
  • There are lots of nature, is a very pretty Park. However, up and down pretty tight, bus Park? If you don't use pretty legs will bear! And the bus is paid and is super crowded, weekends and public holidays and long holidays. It was also pretty good toilet. Until may occasionally be short cleaning intervals may make sense, I think. And unkind? for the Park signs are unclear, for the first time. So far, I think is the way forward and actually have a difference between the high and low, not many. Resolution is necessary and not knowing if you're going to the Park and I know it is recommended to go. Like Godzilla or nature or landscape. I think the photo not get bored!

Where to stay in Yokosuka

The city of Yokosuka has a decent set of accommodations close to its waterfront and naval bases. Primarily built with businesspeople, rather than international tourists, in mind, they tend to be fairly one-tone. Look along the waterfront going west from the main train station to see most of what's on offer, with the emphasis almost exclusively on modern business-style hotels with comfortable rooms, pools, and onsite restaurants.
